Prunus AzoricaTree of ovate-elliptic leaves with wavy, dark green and glabrous margin; 20 to 30 flowers in bunches. It is one of the 10 most rare endemic species of the Azores. It always appears above 500m, preferably in narrow and deep streams and more rarely dispersed in dense stands of native slope forest. |
